A proposed partnership between sgit.ai and Rackspace Technology
Rackspace is the partner who would run vaults for customers, on whichever cloud they use. Rackspace Technology operates managed services across the major clouds and offers UK sovereign clouds for government, healthcare, police and commercial customers. sgit is open source and needs very little infrastructure, which makes it a good fit for a managed-service provider: the value is in running it well, not in the licence.
In short
- Rackspace is a services partner, not only a platform. It is an AWS Marketplace Premier Consulting Partner and runs managed services across clouds.
- UK sovereign clouds. Rackspace's sovereign cloud services serve UK government, healthcare, police and commercial customers.
- Object storage speaks S3. Rackspace Object Storage "supports any application that utilizes the S3 RESTful API".
- What we would like: Rackspace offering managed vaults to its customers.

Where we are with Rackspace Technology today
We have no relationship with Rackspace. It is on this list because the most likely way a regulated UK organisation runs vaults is through a managed-service provider, and Rackspace runs managed services on every cloud on these pages as well as its own UK sovereign clouds.
